howdy.

🤝 I'm a senior UX designer with a background in biochemistry and hospitality. I solve problems with data to create intuitive experiences.

🧾 My path to design was unconventional. During my undergraduate degree I studied biochemistry. I worked in a microbiology lab. I taught music and movement with The Calgary Stampede Showband, and moved abroad to volunteer at a medical clinic in Guatemala. I even wrote the MCAT and scored competitively, planning to pursue a career in medicine.

🚀 When I discovered UX Design it was like a light bulb turned on. After graduating bootcamp I landed a full-time, remote role in less than 3 months and was promoted to senior designer in just over a year; now I'm helping others do the same.

❤️ When I'm not working you can find me mentoring junior designers, arguing with my parrot Cheeto, or finding any excuse possible to book another vacation.
